Westlawn Inn Hosts Delegate Reception
The Westlawn Inn in North Beach was the venue on November 7, 2005 for a cocktail reception in honor of Delegate Sue Kullen. Over 100 supporters joined Maryland Senate President Thomas V. Mike Miller, Jr. and a host of others in this festive evening at one of Calvert County's most notable restaurants.Restaurant owner Lee Travers said that it was a pleasure to host the event at his award winning restaurant. It was only a few months earlier that Travers received the coveted "2005 Dinners Choice Award" from the Restaurant Association of Maryland beating all other new restaurants in the state of Maryland for top recognition for fine food and hospitality.
Delegate Kullen was pleased with the guest turnout which included representatives from many of the businesses in the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach and many elected officials.
