Commander Carvalho Retires from

Delegate Sue Kullen presents Commander Ronald M. Carvalho, Jr. a State of Maryland Proclamation upon his retirement from the Navy.

Delegate Sue Kullen attended a retirement dinner for Commander Ron Carvalho, Jr. The ceremony honored his 24 years in the Navy. Delegate Kullen met Ron through his extensive volunteer work with the Boy Scouts of Calvert County.

CDR Carvalho, a Penn State graduate received the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy commendation Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, National Defense Medal, Southeast Asia Service Medal and several other campaign awards.

Ron and his wife, Susan, live in Huntingtown with their three sons.
