SHA to begin $4.3 million Safety and Enhancement project - encourages your participation on February 27th.
February 22, 2007: The Maryland Department of Transportation's State Highway Administration (SHA) will begin a $4.3 million Safety and Enhancement project along MD 261 from Old Bayside Rd to 1st Street and MD 260 from Cox Road to MD 261 in the Town of Chesapeake Beach, MD.
Work is anticipated to begin mid March 2007 and weather permitting, the project is scheduled to be completed by spring 2008.
SHA will be holding a public information meeting on Tuesday, February 27, 2007, where SHA and Pessoa Construction Company, successful bidder of the project, will give an overview of the project.
