Thank you to everyone who joined the hundreds of participants and visitors to the annual North Beach Polar Bear Swim in the Chesapeake Bay on Sunday, January 1, 2007. While the weather was a balmy 50 degrees and rain threatened the bathers, over 200 people dashed from shore to bay and entered history books as a new year's day plunger.

This year, as in the past, Delegate Kullen and her campaign team passed out home-made chili to over 100 wet and appreciative participants of the swim.

Delegate Kullen's award-winning chili recipe is available upon request by sending an e-mail to Chili Recipe!

Thanks to the Town of North Beach for including us in such a wonderful community event, and to newly elected Mayor Mike Bojokles.

Below are a few photos of participants enjoying the chili after their chilly swim -

Hundreds of Polar Plungers converged on the Annual North Beach January 1st event to take a cool swim in the Chesapeake Bay. Delegate Sue Kullen and several of her campaign team members (above and above right) served homemade chili to participates.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
