Thank you to everyone who joined the hundreds of participants and visitors to the annual North Beach Polar Bear Swim in the Chesapeake Bay on Sunday, January 1, 2006. The event this year attracted the largest gathering with visitors lining the town's pier and along the shoreline and hundreds of hardy souls dashing into the Bay.

This year, like in the past, Delegate Kullen and her campaign team passed out home-made chili to over 300 cold and appreciative participants of the swim. One youngster mentioned that it was "the best chili I've every had" - but the 40 degree temperature may have influenced his comment.

Thanks to the Town of North Beach for including us in such a wonderful community event, especially Mayor Mark Frazer.
